ABOUT the scholarship awards

From a young age, Cameron was intellectually curious, artistically inclined and independent. In the August before his unexpected diagnosis, he explored colleges and universities and looked forward to a bright future in which he would combine his love of learning, exploration and debate with his passion for art and music. We are forever heartbroken that Cameron will never be able to walk that path.
The Cameron Miller Fahey Memorial Scholarship seeks to honor Cameron's memory by providing financial support to graduating Seniors at Brother Rice High School, who demonstrate some of the qualities that made Cameron so special.: intellectual curiosity, artistic fervor, independence, compassion, resilience and humility, The Scholarship awards are one-time payments to assist students matriculating at four-year colleges and universities with the cost of tuition, fees and housing.
The Mind, Heart and Soul Award seeks to honor Cameron's commitment to intellectual pursuits married with a kindness of spirit and concern for the greater good. The award will be provided to deserving eighth grade students at St. Barnabas Elementary School, who have demonstrated intellectual curiosity, generosity of spirit and global awareness and who intend to attend Brother Rice High School to continue their studies. The money will be provided in the form of a one-time awards to be used to defray tuition at the school.
